From The Head Office Of Vanfest
Well the show spoke for itself, and what
a show it was.
326 Vans & Trucks through the gate, 168 in show & shine
on Saturday. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for such a spectacular
weekend. The weather was beautiful, the slippy slide was awesome,
and damn Im still sore. 14 States and 4 provinces were
represented, incredible. This show is truly about friendship
and it was proven here at vanfest. Let me start by thanking staff,
you put your best foot forward in hosting this event every year,
and I owe you a huge hug for seeing this through to the end.
To my American friends that came from far and wide then ending
up giving us a hand in show and shine when you saw what we were
up against, thank you and I really hope you had fun. And last
but not least, Mountaineers, Low Life Miniz, Common Ground, Low
Class Customz, Vandomain .com and all those that gave us a helping
hand in this spectacular event. You all have truly given this
event its true name Canadas Largest Custom Van & Truck
show. Well heres the good news for this year, we raised,
are you ready for this, $3000.00 for the park, and on top of
that we donated $500.00 to the caring cupboard food bank along
with some can goods. Again, thanks to you.
Vanfest 15 is already in the works for June 11-13 2010 at the
same beautiful park with the theme being Hawaiian Luau. Some
exciting things might not make the flyer in time so updates will
be available on the website. Now back to my favourite program,
thanks again & truck em safe this summer.
Yours Truly,
Kevin Lundy,
Event Chairman
